2013-2014:

1. Title: Workshop on Course Curricula for Skill Enhancement Program
Date & Place: 31 August, 2013 at BCC Auditorium, ICT Tower
Objective: To fininalize the topics and curricula which were proposed by BASIS, BACCO and BCS.

2. Title: Program Awareness Workshop
Date & Place: 05 December 2013 at BCC Auditorium, ICT Tower
Objective: To inform the IT / ITES sector about different initiative particularly Skill Enhancement Program, Mid Level Training Program for Manager and professionals, C-Level Training Program and Quality Certification Program of the Project.

3. Title: Preparatory and Farewell function of C-Level Manager
Date & Place: 18 November 2013 at the conference room of ICT Division
Objective: How to take preparation regarding the C-Level training to be held in Hong Kong University.

2014-2015:

1. Title: Workshop on Preferential Package (Incentive, Allowance and Facilitation)
Date & Place: 2 February, 2015 at La-Vinci hotel, Dhaka.
Participants: Government officials, private sector stakeholder and development partner.
Objective: To discuss on incentives, other allowance and facilitation that BHTPA is proposing for developers of Hi-Tech Parks, Property Management Company (PMC) of Hi-Tech Parks and IT/ITES/Hi-Tech companies occupying the space getting developed, to avail as investor.

2. Title: Cloud computing Training
Date & Place: 7-8 February 2015 at BKIICT Lab, BCC
Keynote Speaker: Mr. Mohammad Zaman, Director, Virtuestream, USA
Description: The training course named Cloud Computing – Let’s Build the Cloud Solution and Know. What Is consists of 12 modules.

2015-2016:

1. Title: Workshop on “IT/ITES/Hi-Tech Policy & Roadmap”
Date & Place: 3/9/2015 at Hotel La Vinchi, Kawranbazar, Dhaka.
Objective: The Project appointed EY for providing Transaction Advisory Services. One of the deliverables under this project is the “IT/ITES/Hi-Tech Policy & Bangladesh IT/ITES Industry Roadmap report”. The draft report was presented in the workshop .
Participants: Both government and private sector stakeholders.

2. Title: Workshop on “Awareness on Environment Management” for Developers & PMC
Date & Place: 21 July 2016 at Conference Room, BHTPA, ICT Tower
Objective: To buildup the awareness how to handle environmental issues and maintain workers health and safety in different phases of activities.

2016-2017:

1. Title: Workshop on “Awareness on Environment Management” for Developers & PMC
Date & Place: 21 July 2016 at Conference Room, BHTPA, ICT Tower
Participants: Developer and PMC of BHTPA
Objective: To build awareness to all developers and PMCs regarding environment management.

2. Title: Workshop on Innovation Focusing Big Data
Date & Place: 22 December, 2016 at Computer Lab, ICT Department, ICT Tower
Participants: Professional from different IT/ITES companies
Objective: How to build an organizational for this environment, relevancy of Bangladesh along with the skills we currently achieved as well as a clear guidance on fulfilling any gaps.
Keynote Speaker: (1) Mr. Mohammad Zaman, Director, Virtuestream, USA (2) Sanjay Mazumder, CEO, Veristorm, Silicon Valley, USA.

3. Title: Workshop on “Environment Management” for Contractors and Related Experts
Date & Place: 11 January 2017 at Conference Room, BHTPA, ICT Tower
Participants: All contractors and related experts of BHTPA
Objective: To aware regarding environment management to all the related contractors and expertsof Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority, those are working to build Hi-Tech Park or software technology Park at different places of the country.

4. Title: Workshop on “Bangladesh Digital Entrepreneurship Ecosystem
Date & Place: 12 January 2017 at BCC Auditorium, ICT Tower, Dhaka
Participants: Government and private sector stakeholders
Keynote Speaker: Mr. Tony Eliasz from The World Bank
Objective: To briefly discuss the outcomes of the various ICT Division and BASIS supported initiatives as well as to present the findings and recommendations from the World Bank report.

5. Title: Workshop on Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) & relevant issues
Date & Place: 18-19 January 2017 at Janata Tower Software Technology Park, Kawranbazar
Participants: Government officials and other stakeholders from IT/ITES companies.
Key Note Speaker: Two consultants of Netherlands based global advisory firm “Investment Consulting Associates (ICA)”, Ms Zoe Harries and Mr. Leendert Adriaan Van Der Schoor.
Objective: How Bangladeshi companies or individuals increase the business interests in another country, in the form of either establishing business operations or acquiring business assets in the other country, such as ownership or controlling interest in a foreign company.

6. Title: Workshop on 3-minute Pitch and Capital
Date & Place: 22 January 2017 at Janata Tower Software Technology Park, Kawranbazar
Participants: Representative from startups
Key Note Speaker: Ms Tina Jabeen, Policy Adviser of Startup Bangladesh
Objective: Discussed about different techniques and approaches for a successful 3-minute pitch for the startups.

7. Title: Round-table meeting on “Creating a Venture Capital Ecosystem: Government’s Role”
Date & Place: 23 January 2017 at Janata Tower Software Technology Park, Kawranbazar
Participants: Representative from both public and private sectors.
Objective: Focused on venture capital ecosystem from the standpoint of a macroeconomic or strategic planner. It concluded with a set of recommendations that will assist Startup Bangladesh and iDEA initiative in formulating effective strategies.

8. Title: Workshop on “Innovation entrepreneurship in the digital age”
Date & Place: 11 February 2017 at BCC Auditorium, ICT Tower, Dhaka
Participants: Government & private sector stakeholders and young entrepreneurs.
Key Note Speaker: Mr. David Shrier, MD of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Objective: To know the ever changing technology scenario around the world and how MIT has attached the potential of technology. Also to find out, how Bangladesh can be benefited.

Date & Place: 30-31 March 2017 at Janata Tower Software Technology Park, Kawranbazar, Dhaka
