Training for Public Sector

Training on Hi-Tech Park / Special Economic Zone Management:
The project organized training on Hi-Tech Park/ Special Economic Zone Management for 55 participants (3 batches) in the year 2015 and 2016. Trainees were from different Ministries and Departments. Total duration of the training was 10 days, where first 5 days training were held in Bangladesh and the last 5 days training were organized in abroad. The main objective of the training is to make them understand various issues related with setting up and development of IT parks and their operation and maintenance. The two trainers were hired from India who is renowned resource person of the concerned field. Mr. Satya Narayan Zindal, Director General, Software Tecnology Parks of India and Mr. Prabhu Ram Narayanasany, General Manager, CyberMedia Research (CMR), Gurgaon, India conducted the 3 batches training. The abroad training was held in Malaysia, China, India, Philippine.

Training on PPP Project Formulation and Management:
The training on PPP project formulation and management organized for 53 participants (3 batches) in the year 2015 and 2016 of different Ministries and Departments. Total duration of the training was 10 days, where first 5 days training were held in Bangladesh and the last 5 days training were organized in abroad. The abroad training was held in Malaysia, China and India.vThe main objective of the training is to know about the current status of PPP in Bangladesh, financing PPP Project, Structuring PPP both National & International Perspective, PPP cycle, policies, processes and project Transaction. The resource persons were from PPP Office, ERD (Economic Relations Division), CPTU (Central Procurement Technical Unit), Finance Division, BEZA, etc.
